double platinum: he makes sure to get face
time in the music videos for the songs
he produces (two of them the hottest songs.artists of the past few months – furtado and timberlake) so people know who he is. PLus his songs are generally very catchy and get a lot of airtime.

I would need some context for your question (e.g., are you thinking of licensing and promoting it?), but, based alone on his notoriety as a producer associated with some of the most popular entertainers in the world, I should think the album would sell in the neighborhood of one million units in all territories outside the U.S. He may be a brilliant producer, but he’s not an artist and should continue to leave the performing to others.

Timbaland’s solo album, Shock Value, also did quite well, debuting at #5 with 138,525 copies sold.

I still stand by double platinum…
