Innovative right down to the power cord
The new power adapter with MagSafe connector is just that: a magnetic connection instead of a physical one. So, tripping over a power cord won?t send MacBook Pro flying off a table or desk; the cord simply breaks cleanly away, without damage to either the cord or the system. As an added nicety, this means less wear on the connectors.

Now, Apples might be magnetic, but the idea is clearly not theirs – and could this be a first? That Apple stole the idea from.. Microsoft? Yes, indeed, the original XBox had a similar system to avoid people tripping over the cords to the controllers. Don’t know how well it worked, but they were first. For once..

Good point ! But well my opnion is that most stuff is already invented – but never used in the igth way (in my opinion).
