My God, has nepotism gone out of fashion? If it has, then this has got to be the first time in history! Cut the ' ', you are there where you are Morten, because you got that break from someone you knew! Am I right, or am I right?

Dude, guess it goes with the territory, no? At least you have this space to try and avoid uncomfortable moments with idiots who are not aware that you had to cut costs and clean house pretty much from the get-go.

My advice: try and take advantage of multiple platforms for advertisement, and create an ad-hock, all-inclusive system to sell adverts/ content sponsorships throughout. Also, kick the wheels from the publishing industry and expand into the specialty publications market (a nyhedsavisen in english/ a weekly special edition for parents/ doctors/ etc..) You get the idea. You have a capable editorial staff, and momentum on your side. Keep the good things rolling.

Required viewing for inspiration purposes, now that you are a Newspaperman: the obvious (and best online newspaper in the world, who considentially is also the best designed newspaper in the world) www.nytimes.com; www.thenation.com America's oldest magazine, great website, great example of how a brand that had been around since 1865 has continued to thrive; finally: www.cjr.org the site of America's leading Journalism Critique, news, and review (about the news and the news business). I know, maybe you will only have some minutes to look over these sites, but they are filled with gems on everything from design to use of multimedia, advertising, sales and promotion (cross-platform) and heck, since often things in DK are done "like everyone else" (over here), maybe it will be good to take a look across the pond.

This ended up being a longer comment than I expected, sorry, but I am thrilled to see you kick this 3D venture into high gear... :)

Cheers,

Hi,

In trendwatching, march edition, there was this company http://www.matterbox.co.uk/, they produce a box with sample deliver at home.

I think that this concept would fit well in your delivery platform.
