A new category is defines online - converting PDF into Flash Magazines - nothing revolutionary - but sometimes VERY handy - at least for your inbox ;) I met the PageGangster guys - and found the vision VERY interesing

As an industry it seems like revenue is catching up - www.zmag.dk - claims to do 200.000$ pr. month and opens offices all over Europe.

I’d be keen to hear from anyone who would advocate a particular pdf to flash magazine tool.

It took me only seconds to get what this is about (as a user), what a simple and cool introduction right there where you need it. Even more, it’s fun to grasp it as the site prepares it in a let’s call it “cool style”. I like it.

There are many tools out there… Some are components for flash…

Depending on your skills i would definitely recommend the conversion services like hitman. We do the job for you… -It’s cheap too :-)

There is a Danish product just like it: http://www.ipaper.dk/

I forgot to mention that iPaper is in the office just next to mine and that my employer is an iPaper Partner. Just to be fair.

[...] Morten Lund points to Pagegangster, purportedly a tool to create Flash-based online magazines that are easier to navigate than PDF files. Their demo is quite slick, but be warned: I’ve tried the the Free version, and it’s not exactly easy to use. [...]

Pagegangster is a good free solution but being a zmag customer i wont hesitate to say that the zmagCMS platform offers so much more in terms of tracking, ease of use an integration. Working in a marketing dept. i would never have time to learn using the gangster or wait for them to do the conversion.

Thanx for the comment - you are onto something. But I only invest in PEOPLE - and the PageGangster Team is really amazing. And they will surely make a “MUCH FASTER TO USE” version.
